Moving From Temps To Permanents

If you were given a set of immediate dentures as a temporary set, you'll eventually switch to your permanent dentures. There will be another adjustment period, but it might not take as long as the first time you started wearing dentures. Why?

For one, your gums will have most likely healed by the time you get your permanent dentures, so you won't experience the fitting difficulties you may have had with your immediate dentures while your gums healed.
